So, Chef Tess Bakeresse has been spreading. I'm almost afraid to blink! Can I share some crazy flattering and fun details? This week I got another call from the producer at NBC 12 Phoenix "Valley Dish" asking me to be on the show again next week. Thursday! Between that and Fox 10 that will be my 3rd segment this month. I'm doing what I love best...teaching cooking classes and blogging food for a local food storage store called Preparing Wisely (that I've loved forever!!). I'm seeing a lot of momentum here! . Tuesday March 29th at 9 AM I'm teaching a home canning safety class at Preparing Wisely store in Mesa. So, here on the blog, I'm doing a giveaway! A 12 piece Columbian Home canning set from Cookware.com.
Here's how to enter (up to three times!) :
1st entry...leave a comment.
2nd entry...leave a comment and then leave a second comment if you share it on FB or Twitter (there's a little "share" box at the end of the post).
3rd entry...become a public follower of the blog and comment on that as well.
So, join the fun! Winner will be picked randomly Tuesday the 29th of March...Smooooches!

Yay! Canning is my next big adventure, but I haven't started because I don't have the equipment. And I was once taught the importance of not poisoning your family by doing it improperly!
I left a facebook comment!
. . . and I have always been a public follower.
Okay...so I would have shared your blog even without the incentive! :) In fact, I'm sure I have multiple times in the past. But I just did again.
And now for the actual blog comment...I'm determined to start canning this year! Life ended up on the way crazy side last summer and it just didn't happen...but I did manage to purchase some supplies. Of course, I bought the wrong size lids for the jars I actually had. I'll fix that for this year. :)
And yea you! I think it's awesome that you get to reach a far greater audience than you ever imagined possible! What an amazing time to be you!
I haven't canned in over 12 years but I am just starting to get back into it. I am a stalker I mean follower on all. I love your blog. Hugs, Bobbi Jo
Thanks for the chance. I'd love to learn how to can some of our garden abundance.

Oh! And I shared on facebook AND twitter...since I am already a public follower!
I would love this set up. Last year I made some strawberry jam with agave instead of sugar. It was great. My daughters canned pickles. We would like to expand this year. A little at a time.
I LOVE Cheff Tess! I also love canning, so I'm looking forward to seeing what kwell things she has up her sleeve for next week!
I love canning..I have had successes and failures, but have it on my agenda this summer..
Sounds fun! I will try to come to your class. A nice new canning set would sure help... ;)
I need some better tools to give more than strawberry jam a try in the canning department! I would love to win that set so I can venture out into more canning. Hopefully my garden will cooperate this year too:)
I have become your newest follower, publicly and on Facebook too! :) I love your blog so far... I would love to learn how to can homemade jellies and even vegetables, having some equipment would be a good start, right? ^_^
I haven't done any canning since I grew up, but I'd like to get back into it again.

Canning is not a new adventure, but my equipment is about paper thin! Rusted, yucky old stuff. Time for a change!!! Love the blog!
I just found you're website! Love it! I just moved to CA and the Farmer's Markets here are fabulous. I can't wait to put up stuff for the winter.
I need to learn how to can! It would be great for my food storage that I have yet to start.
Yay! I became a follower!
My grandma was a canner, but when she died I wasn't interested and gave her equipment to a friend. Now I wish I had it. Maybe this is my chance to get started and carry on the family tradition.
