Deep fried fat, coated in chocolate, dipped in nuts and pumped full of fat. Wow. It's really a whole new level of crazy right? Only in America...but there's something fantastic about that.

I'm singing a hymn now to get my mind off of it. Not working... I'm now thinking it would be good with a fluffy cream cheese and peanut butter nougat of some kind filling it...or somehow incorporating sweetened condensed milk in there. Could we add more fat? Could we? Notice I didn't ask, "should we?" As if something this devilish could be worse. OH wait...chocolate dough instead of plain white dough. That would be good. Bacon. We need bacon. Can we wrap it in bacon, before we deep fry it? Like a doughnut fillet Mignon. Drizzle it in caramel and stud it with toffee bits? Someone stuff a sock in my mouth or tie my blogging typing fingers behind my back with a licorice whip. Save yourselves...gouge your eyes out. Send me doughnuts first though...

I thought the same as you but I have no will power...I bought one. and just to make you feel better they really are not that good, and I know my way around a doughnut especially QT's they are the softest ones around just not that particular flavor . there now maybe you wont be so tempted next time.
Great...I do feel better. Now I want to make them so I can improve the recipe. That would, of course, be the only reason... purely scientific discovery. I swear...wouldn't these be good with a peanut butter cream cheese filling? Like a fluffy whipped peanut butter cheesecake? See...look what you've done. Aaaarrrghh...My left toe just popped out of the shoe...six pounds at just the thought of peanut butter cheesecake filled doughnuts...
